About
Our Association

The Thai Offshore Shipping Business Association (TOSBA) is a national trade association established according to the Trade Association Act B.E. 2509 (1966) to serve as an International Maritime Centre. It is made up of a wide variety of shipping companies and associated companies. The Thai Offshore Shipping Business Association (TOSBA) works with and collaborates with key shipping industry players to help enhance the competitiveness of Thailand as a maritime centre. TOSBA also collaborates with government agencies to assist shipping interests in Thailand as well as internationally.

To promote enterprise operations relating to the offshore shipping business.

Support and assist the members in solving obstacles

To support and assist the members in solving obstacles and barriers, as well as negotiating and making agreements with third parties.

Conduct research

To conduct research relating to the enterprise within the objectives, to exchange and distribute academic knowledge as well as trade news relating to the said enterprise.

Documentation Assistant

To request for statistics or documents or any statements from the members relating to the process of the enterprise under the objectives by consent of the members.

Manufacturer Stadardisation

To enhance the quality of goods manufactured and distributed by the member enterprisers to be standardized, as well as conduct research and improve the manufacturing method and trade for better efficiency.

Government Collaborative

To collaborate with government authorities in promoting trade, industry, and finance or any other businesses which are within the objectives.

Economical Management

To promote manufacturing to ensure an adequate quantity of goods to meet market demand both within and outside the country.

Regulatory

To make the agreement or establish the rules to regulate what the members should do or should not do so that the process of enterprises within the objective runs properly.

To compromise disputes between the members or between the members and an external party in the enterprise operation.

To be a representative for the members in contacting or reporting problems and obstacles in processing an enterprise with a related agency to sustainably develop offshore shipping business.
